In 2016, we were approached by an international organisation which wanted to train one of its teams. The aim was double: acquire some defined skills and develop their team cohesion. At Zero Generation we already had a lot of experience on learning design and capacity build. The big challenge was that the team was a virtual one, spread across Europe, and the session was to happen online. The training was created with a combination of learning processes and a selection of virtual tools which ensure interactions, reflections and other elements supporting learning. It happened on a Saturday and throughout the day, we had only one person who left due to prior commitment. The organisation and the coordinator of the projects were happy and the team worked efficiently throughout their mandate. We have dozens of similar achievements.
For over 10 years now, Zero Generation has developed learning experience design, training development and group facilitation processes for individual and organisational capacity building. This summer 2021, we are offering an opportunity to become a trainer, creating and developing impactful learning experiences for communities near and far. Moreover, the experience being online, you’ll practice your skills on virtual tools and become digital native trainers.
We worked with students, educators, academics, consultants, psychiatrists, medical doctors and many others professions. Together with us, you will learn how to engage your participants on a personal growth path. Would you join us and add Learning Designer, Educator, Trainer(*) to your skill set?

This event is for any youth worker involved in initiatives, projects, organisation or company, for whom transferring knowledge, experiences and best-practices, is key for individuals’ and/or organisational development.
You can have a look at some elements about what it takes to be a trainer, that will illustrate some of the elements expected from you. As you noticed, it requires a lot of dedication and next to the elements mentioned in the article above, we are expecting applicants who will demonstrate being:
